Flower Power in the Water Tower

This winter, the Flower Art Museum presents a special pop-up exhibition in the historic Aalsmeer water tower. The monumental space becomes the stage for a unique mix of art, nature, and light.

The artist duo AlexP shows three interactive audiovisual installations, while Christine Deussen-McCall presents her handcrafted gourd lamps—organic sculptures that transform the tower with poetic patterns and shadows once illuminated. Master florist Marloes Joore adds a striking floral artwork reflecting Aalsmeer’s flower culture.

Visitors can also enjoy the authentic architecture of the water tower and a beautiful panoramic view from 50 meters high.

Opening hours: Thu–Sun, 13:00–17:00 (closed on holidays; in February weekends only)
