A little universe of glowing circles, colour and light.
For this special piece, I experimented with an unusual new tool - one actually designed for a completely different purpose. It opened up a fascinating new way of creating the pattern, and I love how the result turned out.
Deep blue and turquoise form the background, while the circles reveal subtle shades of blue, bronze and gold. When lit, the countless openings come alive, casting a mesmerising constellation of light and shadow around the room.
Handcrafted from a natural gourd and set on a cast concrete base.
